Some might call the above statement crazy, but not me. While not all crime is the fault of society, society is the root of much of it. For countless reasons fingers can justly land pointing squarely at the societies they live in. Societies often fail their citizens, and you can point to cultures who keep them safe, but is safe always the desired result? Societies sometimes fall short of the protections they promise, diverting funds elsewhere, or moving slow to make things against the law, or possibly not enforcing the laws in full.

Suddenly, out of nowhere a dark figure falls from the sky, beats the living crap out of the attacker, and flees in his batmobile. The woman has just been saved by an unknown superhero.
